Privacy Policy — BmrCalc
Last updated: October 10, 2026
BmrCalc is a free personal project by Hamdi Arij (Tunis).
Information we do not collect
BmrCalc does not require sign-up, does not create accounts, does not ask for an email address and does not require a phone number. We do not knowingly collect personal information from you.
What happens when you visit
When you use BmrCalc, only the information your browser normally sends to load a web page is received (for example, the URL of the calculator or blog post you opened, your browser and device type, the referring page and approximate location used to choose an ad). The calculators (BMR, BMI, calorie, ideal weight, body fat, loan/EMI, percentage, age, case converter) run in your browser — the values you type are not sent to a server.
Why the inputs stay local
The calculator results are computed client-side with standard formulas (Mifflin-St Jeor, Katch-McArdle, Harris-Benedict, etc.). Nothing you enter into a calculator is stored or transmitted.
Cookies
BmrCalc itself does not set its own tracking cookies. Cookies may be set by:
- Blogger (the hosting platform, by Google), for session and rendering.
- Google and our ad partners, for serving and measuring ads.
Advertising
BmrCalc may show ads served through Google AdSense. AdSense and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to BmrCalc or other sites. This may include Google's Limited Ad Personalization.
Choices (ad personalization)
You can opt out of personalized ads from Google and participating partners on https://adssettings.google.com and through the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out tools.
Analytics
We do not currently run Google Analytics on BmrCalc. Basic Blogger hosting stats (aggregate visits and traffic sources) may be generated by Blogger itself.
Children
BmrCalc is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
